Kejetia Petty Traders Applaud Ashanti Regional Minister for Clean-Up Initiative

Emmanuel Kwateng, Chairman of the Kumasi Kejetia Petty Traders Association, has commended the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Amoakohene and his executives for his commendable efforts in spearheading clean-up exercises across Kumasi, particularly at Kejetia.

In an interview, Mr. Kwateng emphasized that as part of the traders’ corporate social responsibility, it is their duty to actively participate in such initiatives. He affirmed their commitment to supporting the minister’s vision of a cleaner and healthier city.

“We believe this is a good step, and we’re fully on board to support it,” he said. “We hope this clean-up exercise continues, regardless of which government is in power. We are ready to support daily efforts to keep the city clean and tidy.”

The traders’ association pledged continued collaboration with authorities to ensure Kumasi remains a clean and welcoming environment for all.
